Evening Sky Beyond Beara

Wonderful walk along the ridge with earthdreamery there were stunning views to the south across Dunmanus Bay to Mizen Peninsula and to the north over Bantry Bay to the Beara Peninsula. The highest point was Caher Mountain, then a rather steep decline to Cahergal, we had lost the waymarked path and found our own route. My blip was taken from Horse Shoe Lane on the way home, the clouds and light were amazing out to sea. We had been walking for more than five hours but at a comfortable pace with lots of chocolate breaks!
