Shielded Cash

Sorting out all the dross in my pockets this morning - you know; receipts, chewing gum wrappers, random golf ball - when I realised that I had one of each of the coins that make up the 'jigsaw' shield in my change.

The coins were released in 2008 after a competition was run to find the new designs. A guy called Matthew Dent won - and he's from Bangor.

Mark and I scoffed a McDonald's in Bangor yesterday. Small world. Small change.
