Portraits - family and friends!!

That's the name of the photography course I did today and this is one of the friends that I (we) made. The last time we were at Burghley House the fallow deer were more timid and kept their distance Here
Today they were too busy grazing to be bothered by us.

What did I learn? Many things, but the priority is to find out what my bridge camera has to offer on all those menu settings and what do all the terms mean!!! Also to look at my compact more closely, it can do more than I have asked of it in the past.

I had a great birthday with daughter No 1 & only on the course. We caught up on all the news over lunch. She is off to New York tomorrow, lucky girl!!!

Cards & presents were received at the beginning of the day and on return home in the evening, great fun!!

I was too tired to enjoy a meal out (had already planned what we were to eat tonight) so we will go out tomorrow evening instead.
