I had been considering the idea of encouraging the children to go for a walk by finding some geocaches and finally got round to it today. J insisted that if he was going to find treasure he should be in his pirate costume. Hmmmm a thin polyester suit at one below. I eventually got him to put his warm clothes back on and the pirate suit over the top. The first one we went for was just in the fields, behind the old mill pond across the road from our house. It certainly encouraged J to walk.

Getting a bit bored of the snow now, especially as it is just death slide ice now. I hate sounding like my mother.
