I'm pleased to say that Himself is part of the family now since it's apparent he's taken possession of my tree. I think our 30 second commune two days ago might have something to do with it.

With grey skies and intermittant snow, I'm spending an afternoon with Jonathan Schwarz, my favorite radio personality from the early 1967 WNEW radio days of Melanie, Procal Harem, Moody Blues, Donovan...

Schwartz was the disk jockey who gave NY a 1970 celebration called "Five Bloody Hours of British Rock."

For many years now he's been celebrating Broadway tunes and lovely lyricists, new jazz voices and beautiful melodies. He's a true American treasure even though he's a Boston Red Sox fan (smack in the middle of Yankee territory!)
