Dawyck gardens

Its at least 3 years since we visited Dawyck botanical gardens, but now we are close neighbours. Three years ago, in the early autumn, the tall pines were oulined against white cumulus clouds in a blue sky. Quite different today of course. Any signs of spring are difficult to see - maybe some of the buds are beginning to swell (a little). Yet the banks of the stream are cloaked in snowdrops, so there's hope.
