Little boys playing basketball.....(I admit to a soft spot in my heart for this....)
This is our #1 grandson Niklas'(he's the tallest one in the blue shirt) basketball team - they are all 9. At the beginning of the game - I think they are SUPPOSED to be listening to their coach - who is 12. Ha! Frustrating for our #2 son, NIklas' Dad, who played on his high school State championship team and who would love to be the coach, but his schedule interferes. Maybe next time around....

Mini Don Quixote review from last night: A marvelous production from a new traditional staging by choreographer Alexei Ratmansky for the Dutch National Ballet (that premiered Jan 2010).. All the hugely elaborate colorful sets and costumes came in many containers by ship through the Panama Canal for the North American debut at Pacific Northwest Ballet! Exciting! Tom Skerritt, the actor (Top Gun, River runs Through it, etc) played Don Quixote in this endearing story - I especially loved the dancers dressed as cacti who were part of his nightmare-of course he saves Dulcinea from them and all other monsters and windmills..
