Lucky

Evening all,

I've noticed that the fire is as good a fallback blip to me as the cats are. The advantage of the fire over the cats is that the fire doesn't move as much as the cats do, and is a damn sight easier to pose than the cats.

It was a cold night this night, but really we tend to not need an excuse to get the fire going in the winter...actually i tend to think the current Mrs Richardson would have it going in the summer as well if she could.

We are in the fortunate position of being able to have the fire as a bit of a luxury item, a bit of a hobby/pastime, but fortunately not a neccessity, and as i sit here, comfy and cosy, toasting my toes and singeing the hair off one leg only and listening to the fire sing, i realise how lucky i am.
