the sun pours itself into the sea

I love that moment in a good sunrise when the sun seems to pour itself into the sea. Thismorning was one of them.

The rest of the day was spent planting, manuring, fetching cushion covers from the dry clean in Olhao, meeting with the painter (after 8 years we need a repaint on the outside at Casa Pinheiro), putting curtain rails up (I am still terrified of hitting the rather random electrics whenever I drill the walls here), attempting to repair the dvd and talking to Lourdes (having a bit of a rant about Ceri and Philippa) who has today brought yet more provisions that I will struggle to eat!

The weather remains wonderful.
