Durham Cathedral

Too busy to blip!

Had an afternoon visit to Durham. No 1 son has been offered a place on a degree course starting Oct and he was invited to an open afternoon event. It's a long round trip of 240miles. Unfortunately only one parent was allowed in to the sessions. I drew the short straw so I had to spent 2hrs in Durham City. Which isn't a great chore. The cathedral dominates the city and in the winter light look very splendid in deed.

All Cal has to do is get the A level results to get on the course and I'll be making a few more visits.
