Tram today, tram tomorrow ?

My short hop "hame" and back to Belgium over the last 26 odd hours, led to me to Glasgow by train this morning, out on a local train to Singer station (where oddly enough there used to stand the Singer sewing machine factory) for a meeting at Clydebank Business Park, then back to Edinburgh.

While waiting for the airport bus, I had time to ponder that perhaps there was something far wrong with the Edinburgh tram project. I had assumed it was almost finished. Quite clearly not.
