Dùn Èideann

Arrived tonight in the city of my studious days, significantly warmer than chilly Belgium and perhaps unsurprisingly raining.

The airport bus whisked me to Waverley Station (round various tram works) and from there a short walk to my hotel under Calton Hill.

My Nokia is not great for night shots but the skyline is familiar and will bring back fond memories to anyone who has stood at the end of Princess Street and gazed up at Castle Rock..
