It's My Birthday!!

I'm 30 today!

I've been very lucky and received lots of cards and presents. I felt like a princess opening them.

We're having a great time in Amsterdam. We went on a lovely canal cruise, had lunch sat outside in the sun, had dinner in a very nice restaurant, then donned some fetching pink wigs for a night out.

Apart from the wigs (!?), the highlight of the night for me was having 'Happy Birthday' sung to me by the 'entertainment' in the nightclub we were in. It was lovely.

I really haven't been looking forward to turning 30. However, I have two new philosophies about my age:

1) Flirty at Thirty
2) According to one of my birthday cards, Brigitte Bardot said "When you're thirty you're old enough to know better, but still young enough to go ahead and do it".

Excellent words I reckon.
