Catching up with old friends

Today we drove over to the Oxford area to see some friends that we had known when we were in France. The girls had been small then and we went to a mother and toddler group together and the English speaking church and Kath and I had been part of a group that read stories in English on Wednesday afternoons at the local library. Whilst most of us basically read stories, Kath was always more of a 'storyteller' and has gone on to become a published childrens book writer. Unfortunately the weather was poor again, so we didnt get as far afield this time to explore the lovely countrysde, but we were able to fit in a walk around the village in between showers. The quality of the shot isnt great I know - Roger took it, thats my excuse!
