Melting ...
I went for a look round the felled tree sections in front of County Hall today, to see if there was anything of note I could blip. I did find a cracking little fungus near the top of one, surrounded by crystaline snow. I took some shots of it, but not one of them was blip-worthy - I think my hands were just TOO cold to be steady enough for macro shots! I plan to return there tomorrow and try again (probably wearing gloves this time, lol). After the substantial snowfall on Saturday night and overnight into Sunday, it thankfully hasn't snowed again here in Norfolk. And though very cold, the snow and ice is slowly melting, as illustrated by this snow filled crevice on one of the trunks.
Hmmm, 'the ice is slowly melting' - I have a music link - the wonderful George Harrison with my favourite Beatles track (one of the few I liked) and right now we need THIS badly!
