Sunrise

As I was sitting staring out the window this morning I thought the sky looked particularly appealing, silhouetting the tress beautifully. In other words another example of yesterdays problem, how do you capture what the eye sees when the contrast is so high.

Your eyes deal with these things well and allow you to appreciate colours and textures at different levels of the view in front of you, but the cameras exposure cant really be ideal for the whole image, but has to compromise.

I always find the final image I end up with, is never quite how I saw the view and is an attempt to create a decent image rather than reflecting what I saw. Its still fun though and usually forces me onto full manual control, as it did this morning, to try and get the exposure 'right', if there is such a thing.

Happy Tuesday everyone.
