Canal view

I am a big fan of everyone elses B&W shots and have never really investigated it in any detail for myself. I really wanted to give this a go today when I saw the canal scene, lit from beyond, creating a silhouette with the buildings, and brilliant reflections on the surface.

The shot fails to capture what I saw with my eye but it is my only attempt at a blip on this busy day, so its that or nothing. It does make me want to try some new things with mono in mind, so hopefully i can make some time soon.
