Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Stand Up Paddle Boarding is one of the fastest growing water sports in the world.

Cottesloe Beach and our ocean seems to be proving ideal for this new activity and not a day goes by when you see one or many riders on the water, mixing it occasionally with the long board and body surfers.

Most of the time however they seem to seek the flatter water as shown by this lone rider today.

I find it hard enough to paddle a board lying flat on the board, let alone standing and paddling at the same time. I think I will keep to my beach walks and tennis.
