Lake Tekapo

After a wet but otherwise uneventful drive to Lake Tekapo last night (we were expecting snow, ice and treacherous roads), we woke to a most glorious morning!

So of course, the gratuitous NZ landscape ;-)

Lots of other goods pics today as Roundhill, the ski area where we went to, was amazing. Nearly 1 metre of snow in the past 3 days. The entire Mackenzie Basin is covered in snow - a beautiful sight. We had to wait while they bombed the area by helicopter in case of avalanches - very exciting.

Lots of good skiing today and fun times with a bunch of friends we went up with. Adam ventured up the T-Bar and did well - his skiing is improving. And Hannah had a lesson, more work needed - but then, it was her first day!
