Back from the dead. View from the room.
I've been in Edinburgh since 26th June, to be exact. Started my 4th year of uni on 1st of July while everyone else was (and still is) enjoying their summer vacation. Life is not fair, bla bla bla...
It's quite hard to believe that I'm now in my 4th year. It's so close to the end.
THAT is a truly scary thought.
Anyway, fringe fest has kicked off a few days ago. I watched they put this on when I opened the curtains this morning.
I've never been in Edinburgh during the festival before so I thought it's a good thing that my semester started earlier than usual.
2 things I'm not so fond of though:
1) the fact that I've got class means that less free time to actually spend on going to the fringe events.
2) My flat is about 1 minute away from udderbelly & guilded balloon, 2 of the major fringe venues. So yeah, it can get very noisy at night..and if you're someone like me that likes to leave the windows opened almost all the time, then it is definitely a big problem.
Hmpph, maybe it's time to shut the windows and invest some money on a fan.
Well, I'm off to see Grease Lightning Drag Show tonight. It better be good..
