Marantz CD somethingorother

This is the insides of a Marantz CD player. The model number doesn't matter - the important thing is it's got a Phillips TDA1541A DAC chip in it - the holy grail of DACs.

It sounds amazing.

Shame it's not mine really. I'm visiting Sam in Rugby this weekend. He is going to Australia for 6 months soon though so I may suggest I look after it for him...
