Grimstone & Sortridge Leat

This old leat runs for some 6 miles across Dartmoor after coming off the Walkham River. Originally it provided water to an old copper mine at Sortridge and normally carries water to this day but here near the Windy Post Cross, where normally there is a little cascade, the leat was frozen into a series of steps.
