It was my Dad's 91st birthday today, so it seemed appropriate to blip him!

I couldn't decide between this one and one of him smiling

At the time he was telling me a tale about when he and my Mum were in a restaurant and were asked by the very Italian waiter if they would be having dessert after their main course. My Dad said they weren't yet sure and would "play it by ear". The waiter clearly didn't have a clue what he meant but picked up on the phrase and was heard asking the other diners - "would you like a dessert or will you play it by ear?".

I had already taken a picture of two of the chickens, which I was going to blip, then I took the dog out and was taken by the geese sliding about on the frozen lake (hilarious) so had this picture.

But in the end, it had to be my Dad. Happy Birthday Dad x
