Why did I come in here?

What cracking weather. Clear crisp blue skies, clean fresh air, boootiful, as Mr Matthews was prone to say.

Is this what someone on LSD would see? I don't know, being a good boy. I like it in B&W etc but thought this might make a change from my usual bits and pieces. From either end it looks like a glacier flowing down a mountainous valley. Perhaps I have been on the odd prescription medication, or I've gone all arty pharty. Toots and I had a great wander today, met a few people, had a chuckle.

One smallholder is putting up a fence to protect his livestock, Alpacas, Ducks, Chickens etc. Somebody has complained to the planning department about the fence. The grounds for the complaint, "I am unable to see into the property." Why would a planning inspector waste time and effort on such stupidity?

There are many spots where the ground is littered with lichen. I do wonder how many of the walkers realise that right above their heads the blue tits are ripping it away in search of bugs. A beautiful robin picked a bug up from the leaf litter this morning, right in front of me. I enjoyed watching him so much that the camera stayed in the bag. If I had been looking through the viewfinder I doubt if I would have seen him grab the bug.

Junior Grandson day tomorrow, anything could happen, he be teething. I will not be breast feeding him, even with my tassels fitted.
