jumpingbean's challenge. Day 2 - refrigerator

My sister has just drawn to my attention this 29 day challenge. I'm not sure that I want to take it on, especially as I've missed the first day which was 'reflections'.

My eldest daughter Lucie, and her fiancé are winging their way back from Delhi as I write, and I wish to draw this picture to Lachlan's attention!

I have already mentioned that the opportunities to be together as a family are few and far between. The last gathering was Christmas 2010 in Cape Town, when at the time, my older children were working in Africa, Brussels and Moscow.
The days flashed by, including a road trip to Alexandria, in the Eastern Cape, where we attended cousin Angie and Mark's wedding at the farm - the best celebration ever!
As in the past, we had so much fun finding Christmas presents costing no more than 100 Rand (£10) each. We also introduced (thanks to Sarah Halliday), picking a name out of a hat and writing a pledge to that person, which was to be carried out during the year.

This brings me back to today's theme and the pledge made by Lachlan, which has been pinned to my fridge for slightly over a year now. He hasn't set foot in Dundee since he wrote it - but this is about to change.

Will I hold Lachlan to this? If so, I cannae wait!
