On the River

Back Blip

Eventually got on the Amazon (well....the River Para) on our last Saturday in Belem! We'd tried the week before but torrential rain stopped us. Today was just the right weather for it, although it doesn't look like it from the photo here! Had lunch at the school director's family home as usual and then down here for the trip. Even if this month hasn't been without its challenges, we've all three bonded with the place in our own way and this river trip brought it altogether for us. Helen and I have been asked back next January, so it might not be 'Bye bye Belem' just yet!
