Blackwater Falls

First day of our family vacation. Rod, Randy and I arrived in Elkins, WV. late last night. It took us about four and a half hours, but seemed longer since we were driving after work...in the dark. My Mom came down from New Philadelphia and my sister and her husband came in from Lebanon TN. We're staying until Monday and and this is our first adventure of the week-end... Blackwater Falls. It's absolutely beautiful. The weather couldn't be better. It was a fairly easy hike down to the falls. Then we drove up to an overlook way above the falls. The countryside is just stunning. I'm looking forward to relaxing, spending time with my family and enjoying the scenery.
