Parsnip

As promised, I kept away from the bird feeder today but became obsessed with a parsnip top instead.

I had been hoping to go for a cycle this morning but it was too cold for that. It was also too grey and dull to try any shots at the bird feeder.

I decided to make some soup and when I rummaged in the pantry I found this parsnip had sprouted. Aha, an unexpected blip had come my way. Easier said than done. Sometimes I find macro shots can go on, and on, and on ........... There always seem to be different angles, light etc to try.

Anyway, after much deliberation, my blip for the day.

P.S. Eating soup at the moment. Very delicious. Lentil.
