Day 2 of Midland Open

This is Ryan McCafferty on his way to Bronze medal, he did really well and narrowly lost Silver.

But what a day ! Medhi and Helena were taken off the mat on spinal boards and taken by ambulance to hospital. They are both fine after neck x-rays. I went with Medhi to hospital, as soon as I got back I took David back to the hospital, he broke a bone in his foot and came back in a plaster. So 3 of our ProJudo out of 12 in hospital on Day 2!

To add to Calum's Gold on Day 1, Ryan got a Bronze, Rachel a Gold and Jack a Silver so pretty good.

Then the mini-bus wouldn't start at Stafford Services after the starter motor burnt out. The RAC man got us going again but we couldn't turn the engine off! Back by 11pm for most of us (the Girls 1am after the detour to hospital!!), pretty tired
