marymouse and a daffodil

What else can I call it!
Cold, grey and damp so decided to get even damper and go swimming this afternoon. Not been swimming for ages and this proved to be a good day to resume. Went to a lovely local pool and it was extremely pleasant ploughing through warm water at a modest pace. A good feeling at the end of it so then relaxed with a coffee. A good way to spend the afternoon leaving me feeling the day was well spent.
Realised later that I hadn't got much 'in the can' for Blip so had to be a bit creative. The mug was given to me by a friend some years ago and the little mouse was picked up in Ironbridge. The daffodil is one of a bunch I bought at the weekend and they are just beginning to open up. I think daffodils in a vase is like having sunshine indoors, a reminder that warmer days are coming.
