Relaxing in the Lagoon

At the north end of Canandaigua Lake, there is a small lagoon located behind Wegman's and Burger King. This little area is pretty in the summer as there are various forms of wildlife showing up from time to time.

Late this afternoon, as we pulled into a parking lot, I got out, drawn by an enchanted scene. Part of the water in the lagoon is frozen....on that section, geese were lined up, sitting and standing right at the brink of the ice. On the unfrozen section, geese were floating about and enjoying the water, just as though it was indeed a summer's day!
