Ancient beauty

Sitting in St James Church, Thurning, in Northamptonshire, I had time to contemplate the beautiful stained glass window. I was there for the inauguration of the church's organ by an extremely accomplished organist who played pieces by Bach and Mendelssohn among others. It was worth braving the cold to experience such beautiful music.
