Cakes, golf and stuff

The breakfast of champions

Forget bacon sarnies, or porridge, or muesli.

The best breakfast can be found anywhere in Spain - Churros con chocolate! Its truly the most delicious thing, ever!

Add some croissants (this wee beaut was a double choc croissant), cafe con leche, and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and you are set up for the day!

Quick brekkie before hitting the shops. The problem with Spain is that they feel they have to shut the shops on a Sunday - so you have to do all yours shopping on Saturday and keep the sightseeing until Sunday. Luckily it was shopping weather - slight drizzle and 13 degrees.

We managed to buy two golf trophies - pics to follow in the coming weeks.

More food at the Taller de Tapas - in Calle Comtal - wonderful croquetas de jamon - truly scrumptious. All washed down with lashings of beer.

Oh - and no dinner - we were far too full. So we had more beer ;) I found a lovely wee bar near the apartment we rented 10 years ago, that did damm con limon - shandy made with a bitter lemon - superb!!
