My friends host a brilliant informal Burns Supper every year.

Each year gets better and better and the turns are so impressive. This year we had a kingpin of art royalty reading Burns; a theatrical bawbag performing satirical verse; a rousing chorus of Bonnie Wee Jeanie McCall; a poet performing his own words; a solo rendition of Auld Land Syne and Colin's annual review poem. Then of course there are the informal turns, tap dancing, contemporary movement and loads of other nonsense.

This year there was also a quiz and this is the booty won by the winning team. It includes a countdown watch to the referendum and a tartan purse for the van.
