The zebra police station
A reliable source once told me that the the markings on a zebras bum is unique to each individual zebra. This means that you can tell each zebra apart from another one by looking at its bumprints. A very handy piece of information if you were to be looking for a zebra that might have been involved in some criminal act....imagine the size of the ink pad the zebra law enforcers would need to use.....
I am doing some back blipping because I have been away in South Africa on work. Nice work if you can get it huh? well actually this was a fairly rude introduction to SA, it being winter, cold (colder than Scotland even....) and very bleak seeing as it doesn't rain in winter. I'm told summer is a much better time to visit so I'm looking forward to that trip immensly.
I like this picture cause it kinda sums up the little that I know so far of conservation and development, and how people interpret that aim differently around the world. There are so many issues to prioritise and each issue is battling for attention. I have a lot to learn. All I can say is...bring it on....
