Movement
Didn't feel like moving at all today. But there was much to be done so I hauled my sick self out of bed and got on with the day. Admittedly it needed Mr B to come in and put a cup of tea just out of reach to get me out of bed...
So, tax returns were returned, census forms (French) were filled in, and Mr B carried on his sterling work of fixing the computer system. I don't know how I ended up in charge of it all those years ago, but it is a relief to have someone slightly more competent in charge! Now I have internet in the living room and kitchen (instead of either or) and the Apple TV seems to be working properly too.
Katherine was over at a friend's house this afternoon (whose dad speaks very good English and, I discovered, is a GP. That could come in handy for any medical translations needed) while Conor and I took Mr B to the airport. Very very cold here, but we seemed to have missed the few flakes of snow that our neighbours reported seeing.
I'm feeling a bit of a monochrome phase coming on, so here's my continuing adventures in slightly abstract things. These leaves (crocus leaves) are so densely packed and constantly in movement with the slightest breath of wind; crossing and uncrossing in endless combinations. I was trying to capture a bit of that sense of movement, without letting it just be a blur.
