Fresh snow on Skiddaw!

We made good use of our micro spikes ( mini crampons ) today as we walked up Skiddaw in the snow!

It was quite busy! There were sledgers...paragliders...and one young man was going to camp tonight on the top!

You can see Keswick and Derwentwater in the sunshine! To the right of Derwentwater is Catbells which is a very popular walk.

We are home now drinking cups of tea, and the woodburner is chucking out the heat!
