Wharariki beach at dawn

4.50a.m. saw my alarm going off this morning. That is seriously ridiculous when I am still on holiday, but Kiwilizzie and I were on a mission to get to Wharariki Beach before sunrise to take photos.

Second half of life inspired this madness with her photo of 17th January - and she tells me that hers was inspired by one of kiwicamera's blips some time ago.

Mine didn't come out with quite the effect I was hoping for and, after 70 photos taken on my camera, this blip was taken on my phone and uploaded from there. I have put one from my camera here in my blipfolio so that you can see the difference.

It is now time for a wee nap.
