Crookhaven Harbour
Lovely viewed large.
Between the very heavy rain showers, the sun shone and the light was amazing, it's on days like today, that you forgive the endless grey gloomy days and really celebrate living in such a beautiful place! It was a working day but with Rachel able to cover I took an extended lunch break and went off to Crookhaven. My trip did have a another motive, there is a craft shop there which we hope might be interested in selling wayfarer cards, my little business venture with freespiral, they were, so that's another outlet for us!
I really did not want to go back to work, I could have bimbled on those beaches and walked the headlands all afternoon, so many great blip opportunities and we will need more photos of this area, as we have two outlets in the vicinity.
My chosen blip is taken from cockle beach, looking east across the harbour to Roaring Water Bay and Mount Gabriel. Crookhaven is busy in the summer with sailing folk, I managed a bit of kyaking on a couple of warm summer evenings when there were dolphins in the harbour. That was one of those totally magical moments in my life, we were so close that we could hear there breathing!
Have a great weekend.
