Waves from the Seine
This is a classic Bateau Mouche (singular) passing under the Pont de la Tournelle (behind Notre Dame). It is one of the large fleet of Bateaux Mouches (plural) which ply the Seine day and night. The boat was huge, carrying all Asians as best I could see. (There are other lines, but the BM are best-known.)
More later...we're off to a concert by our friends Marie-Madeleine and her husband Sylvain. Edit: It was a superb evening. Four musicians: M-M on the guitar, Sylvain on the accordeon, Laurence playing 4 sizes of recorder, and her partner Lionel the cello. A dozen pieces from five countries, three played by the quartet, and the rest by different duos. A unique concert, to say the least--very high quality despite music that was clearly not easy.
