Golden Downs

The local landscape is golden....mostly. Wheat and barley crops are being harvested and the straw baled. The weather overnight dumped a lot of rain and snow well down on the foothills so the harvest has been put on hold for a day or so.....the sun has been shining and strong wind blowing all day which will help to dry out the grain....headers will be cranking again tomorrow.

Lawns, edges and a general tidy up inside today.....someone was going through our place this afternoon.....Doug and I made ourselves scarce and went for a walk along the beach, then some hospital visiting.

Its been a good day.
