Let There Be Light

Remember when we used to have ordinary lightbulbs?

Yeah, I do too!

Back then, the only real choice was either screw or bayonet fitting but these days we're Spoilt for choice.

In our house we have at least SIX different types of bulb in use, some of which take a good 2-3 minutes to achieve full power!

All energy saving bulbs, I might add.
So we're doing our bit to save the planet.

Not all bulbs are as efficient as each other though, as we've found to our cost.

Frequent trips to IKEA can be wearing on the wallet!

There are new LED lights on the market, which look just like their 'cousins' but cost £10 EACH!

Candles are a much cheaper option I think. :)
