I can 'ear you!

You may think that I'm sound asleep, but I can always hear what's going on, especially if it sounds like the utility room door opening because that's where she keeps my box of bonios and the big bag of my favourite meal.

On the other paw, it might mean it's walk time. That is the most exciting thought of all. She keeps everything she needs in there - first it's the big socks and walking boots ( I like that bit because I want to lick her face when she bends down! ) then whistle and jacket, after that she hunts around for her ear muffs and gloves, not forgetting the mobile and camera. When she unhooks my lead, I get really excited and refuse to sit down to get my collar on. But I always do in the end.

Today, we went along by the river. I love that because there are lots of sticks to chase. We play a game. I go up to a stick and pretend I'm going to pick it up. She tries to get it and then I really do pick it up and run away! She just laughs and tries to catch me out the next time.

Anyway, here I am in my favourite bed, nice and cosy and asleep. Well, that's what you think!
