Friend from afar . . .

After a long time not blipping, I have been tempted back!

We have an old friend of Mike's, old as in from university days, rather than in years (!) staying. Doing the tourist thing, we headed off to Skara Brae in the teeth of a gale. She was last in Orkney 47 years ago, so it has been fascinating to hear how things have changed in the interim.

A lovely time is being had by all!
