Rocky Road to ruin

Tomorrow I have a birthday in the house for a certain 12 year old yikes cannot believe that has come round so soon.
This birthday of hers has been going on for about 7 days already what with one thing or another so this weekend is the climax.
So today after my very muddy but fun bike ride, followed by coffee and chocolate roll from M&S £2 for £2 bargain ( and very nice too for shop bought) I started the task of making her birthday sweet treats.
She has made a number of requests for home made cakes etc and mainly all of them have chocolate in them.
So good old Nigella helped out as usual with her Rocky Road and then the old favourite millionaire shortbread and on top of that she also wants a chocolate and raspberry cake .... OMG I am all chocolated up and feel sick with the spoon licking that has had to be done...... someone had to do it.
Hope she and her friends enjoy it all I am sure not all mums got to this effort for a sleepover midnight feast Do they ???
