Not what we want to see
Last summer, I noticed the canopy on one of the ash trees along the driveway was looking pathetic. There were a lot of dead branches and some with sparse leaf coverage. Since we live in the woods, it is easy to not notice things like this.
This morning, I looked out front and to my dismay, I noticed woodpeckers have been very busy, working on this tree. I think our tree just might have fallen victim to the emerald ash borer. We have lost a few ash trees in the past couple of years. This is so frustrating and sad, but it would be nearly impossible to treat all of our trees.....
