Where am I ?

When I arrived back in the village after my morning shift in 'the shop', this is what I found! Could this be my village road? I knew there was to be some disruption to electricity supplies and that the telegraph poles were to be replaced but I didn't expect traffic lights and lorries barring the way to my drive. What a blipping opportunity, pulled over and rattled off several pictures much to the puzzlement of the workmen. Very disappointed to see the nice old finial on 'our pole' was not to be replaced on the new one. You've probably guessed, Health and Safety - it might fall on somebody's head!!! More of that tomorrow, there is a sequal.
Went along to Aunt B's 90th birthday bash at 4pm. It was a very jolly affair and the bubbly flowed. It was lovely to see her having such a good time and among so many friends. She is a remarkable lady, many happy returns B.
A much brighter day today, and it's due to get brighter still tomorrow.
