Tubular Bless.

Excitement hits Fishponds high street. Shock horror, they're digging it up again. Huzzah for the 5 weeks (often promised, but often over-delivered timescale) of added inconvenience on an already full school-run thoroughfare.

However - look at the up-side. An excellent blip as I wandered home. Drawn in by the vibrancy, the geometry, the wheels within wheels of industrial plastic. Just think.. we'll be some of the last to look back and say.. I remember that stuff - proper fossil fuel plastic; not that algal muck that breaks, and causes drought and asthma. Or hopefully not - not the way my memory's tending anyway.

Makes one exceedingly glad of being a 10min walk from the co-op tho'.
