What a treat!

Today I visited with an old and very good friend and, instead of eating at her's as we usually do, she treated me to lunch out. It was at a very nice local restaurant with an excellent reputation.

What more can I say than this was scrumptious (roast chicken, cabbage with bacon, mash and roast beetroot) as was the tarragon and beetroot risotto for starters and the creme brulee with blackberry sorbet for pudding.

What a treat indeed!
