The Road Not Taken
Needed some fresh air this morning and space to comtemplate some significant choices in my life at the moment so decided to head down the the River Waveney in the sunshine. It was definitely sunny but boywas it windy!! Almost got blown off my feet a couple of times.
Here are some of the photos - not easy to take in high wind.

The green lower part on the right of this pic is where a recent dig uncovered traces of an ancient trackway (Iron Age).

The title of this blip is, of course, taken from the famous Robert Frost poem. I've used a bit of artistic licence as it's not in a wood but this was the path I did not take today. A time for choices as I said at the beginning.
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
